Too Much Snow to Ride Yet!

It's not time yet! We've had lots of inquiries about when we are going to start horseback riding this season, but as of right now, there's still too much snow! This picture was just taken last week, and as you can see, there is still almost 4 feet of snow in some areas. We will keep you updated on the progress of the "big melt". As for now, even though we can't ride yet, we will call all this snow a blessing, for truly it is!

Wow! Doesn't this look like she is ready to ride off into the sunset?  Folks, the views don't get much better than this.  Make sure you don't forget to bring your camera!

Oftentimes we like to let the horses out for some "free range" dinner around the ranch.  Here you can see some are stopping to get a drink from the pond.

He's a natural! Our young guests love being grown-up enough to ride by themselves.  Children 5 years and older can ride their own horse; we use special horses that know just how to take care of these youngsters.

 

How many people do you know love their job?  Here at the Eagle Ridge Ranch, our guides work hard taking care of horses and guests, but it's not hard to see that they truly love what they do!
