Mama moose and calf

These two were spotted about two miles from the front entrance of the ranch this morning! That's likely a mama moose with her calf born early this spring. Thanks for the picture Justin Angell!

WEDDING!!

Congratulations to Jarom and Maggie on their recent marriage.  Jarom has been a guide for us for many years, and he is definitely a favorite among the guests.  These two make a very lovely couple, and we wish them the best!

We are open for horseback riding 2016!

Yesterday was cold with a high of right around 42 degrees Fahrenheit, but that didn't stop guests from taking the afternoon to enjoy a horseback ride at the ranch.

If you've come to Yellowstone, and you are finding there is not much open yet, check us out. We are likely the only ranch open this early for horse rides.

Mother's Day Gift Certificates

If you haven't picked up something for mother's day yet keep us in mind! Mom would love a horseback riding trip this summer. You can call and pay by credit card and we will email you the gift certificate. After Mom makes her summer plans, she can give us a call to make her reservation.

Too Much Snow to Ride Yet!

It's not time yet! We've had lots of inquiries about when we are going to start horseback riding this season, but as of right now, there's still too much snow! This picture was just taken last week, and as you can see, there is still almost 4 feet of snow in some areas. We will keep you updated on the progress of the "big melt". As for now, even though we can't ride yet, we will call all this snow a blessing, for truly it is!

Congratulations to Tanner and Maddi!

Wow, look at this cute couple.  Tanner has been a guide at the Eagle Ridge Ranch for several years.  Last fall he and Madi were engaged, and they tied the knot January 8th!  Hopefully, we can get some wedding pictures posted soon of the new couple.  In the meantime, enjoy their engagement pics.

Moose in Island Park

 

Check out these moose that were seen last week in Island Park!  In just a few months the cows will have their calves, and it is always fun to see them.
